OVERVIEW

Hearty Greetings Zine Series was founded on the idea of bringing fine press details like letterpress printing, die cut, hand binding and use of metallic foils to create artist made books at a price point for everyone. 
 
Featured in this issue: a variety of printed objects including dried and fresh plants, dollhouse furniture cut outs, a business envelope, crocheted lace & more.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Archival 60 lb cover weight paper printed using archival, oil based ink. Pages are folded then adhered to each other giving the pages a substantial, board like feel. 
 
The printing plates for this book were created using the "photogram" method, where objects are laid onto photo positive offset printing plates then exposed to UV light, resulting in the images being literally "burned" into the plate. Once the plates are made, they are printed on the offset printing machine in a variety of colors and layers. The result is the Offset (printing process) Photogram (printing plate process) zine🦄.
 
Text on the cover is handset letterpress printed.
